Commenting following the Evidence Session Ian Hudghton said,

"I am very happy to have been asked to deliver evidence on the Commission Work Programme for 2013 with colleagues at the Scottish Parliament. It is essential and important for MEPs to keep a close working contact with the Scottish Parliament to help discuss issues of importance in both Parliaments so as to ensure the best possible results for the people of Scotland.

"I discussed a number of interesting topics with the cross party committee of MSPs and look forward to further meetings, which will be mutually beneficial to activities in both Brussels and Edinburgh."
