Ian Hudghton (Greens/EFA) I voted against paragraph 54 which states that the benefits of public-private partnerships have not been fully realised. Last month seventeen schools in Edinburgh were forced to close and thousands of pupils were affected. All of these schools were built under private finance initiatives signed off under the previous Labour government and they stand testimony to the real effects of PPP.
