Ian Hudghton (Greens/EFA) I voted in favour of the Commission proposal but against the parliamentary resolution. I fully support the EU’s efforts to tackle tax avoidance but am opposed to a Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base. Parliament’s efforts to conflate these two issues is deeply misguided. Parliament’s amendments have little chance of getting through Council and it is a shame that this House has proceeded in this manner.
