Ian Hudghton (Greens/EFA) - It is right that the EU takes measures to ensure each nation’s cultural heritage is protected and that national treasures are returned. A couple of decades ago the Stone of Destiny was returned to Scotland after a near continuous absence of seven centuries. More importantly, in a few months the people of Scotland will have the opportunity to return the substance of Scottish nationhood.
