Ian Hudghton (Greens/EFA) - The Scottish Parliament was only one of a number around Europe which issued a yellow card on this proposal in relation to it running contrary to subsidiarity. A European public prosecutor could potentially undermine long-standing structures in the Member States such as Scotland’s office of the Lord Advocate. I accordingly voted against this proposal.
