Ian Hudghton MEP today hosted a study visit at the European Parliament in Brussels for a group of students whom he had met when he visited Dundee University in February.

MEPs are able to host visitor groups at the European Parliament from their constituency every year, and over the years Mr Hudghton has made good use of this  arrangement by hosting students from Scotland's Schools, Colleges and Universities at the European Parliament, to further their studying of politics and EU law.

Mr Hudghton commented, "Today the students were given the opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Brussels, to discuss issues with their MEP and to also watch a live plenary session in action.  The students picked up where they left off when I last saw them in February by asking questions on a number of interesting topics including EU issues related to the independence referendum."
